forum crashing
i seem to have a small problem with the forum crashing explorer. any ideas. it happened for a while on another forum and i cant remember what i did to solve it.
its not very predictable but usually its when scrolling up or down or following a link. its probably my pc rather than the forum but its just a tad annoying when your reading an inetersting post

There aren't too many of those...domsz4 wrote:an inetersting post
As for crashing, which browser are you using (which version) and do you have all the latest updates for your OS?
Perhaps try another browser, as the same issue on different browsers could be a graphics driver issue. If only one browser is affected, try turning off any plug ins or add ons.
Failing that, clear you cache etc, old corrupt images/temp files could be causing the problem.
Thats it for now, sure I can think of more later...

Re: forum crashing
Strange... what sort of problem? Does it give a message, if so what?Hunter wrote:i have trouble editing my posts lately...it wont let me....
As you can imagine with this many members, if there is a problem like that I usually get to hear pretty quickly, so I am thinking it may be a problem your end as I haven't heard any other reports yet.
What I would try is logging out, deleting your browse history and cookies, then login again and test editing posts. I can edit my posts but then I am admin so that's not really a fair test. Perhaps someone else can chime in and confirm it is still working for the rest?
