First world problem, photo uploader?

Post by John002 » Tue Apr 14, 2015 10:44 pm

Hi, I have a problem with all the spammy rubbish on photobucket- ads etc. I don't like using it, I can never tell whats public or private and I wont be using it again.

Is there another photo uploader I can use that's geared around this century and is less frustrating?
I use Dropbox, would that work in the same way or is there another I can try?

Photobucket probably works fine for many here it's just not for me.

Any help appreciated, links etc..

thanks

Have you considered flickr?

Plays nicely with embedding, has no bandwith/upload restrictions.

It's also easy to move all your photos to private and even adjust upload preference so they're all private by default.

Hi Neil,

So Flickr works with this forum? I've used it in the past and might give it another go. I thought only Photobucket was compatible here but it does make sense that any embedding should work.

I need something compatible with Apple/Android and Windows Phone. Flickr could work?

Cheers Neil
