I think I fall in to both categories. I like talking to other enthusiasts and make contributions (which I hope are a welcome addition sometimes) to places like this, but am also a miserable git.paulgs1000 wrote:
Fortunately I've met other Zed owners that are enthusiasts and keen to talk and share their enthusiasm for the Zed
And then, yep, there are miserable gits
I appreciated the Lotus 7 guy giving me his contact card and inviting me on a run if I was ever in the area. Steph and me put together runs based around Newcastle for Zed owners and I think not every Zed owner will know and some may want to join us - if they're interested then I can hand over a card.
If they're not interested then we'll leave them alone - I can quickly tell who the miserable gits are - it's kind of obvious. . . . . .

Re: After a lot of talk . . . . . forum business card
Already ordered mine (as you know Taz - thanks for the link and the designing)
Cost me £15 for 100 and all you need to do is change your forum name on the design.
Looks a lot more effective than my first design.
Thanks again Taz

Re: After a lot of talk . . . . . forum business card
Well now - just gave out my first 'card' this afternoon.
Took relatives on a visit to Alnwick and saw a red 2.2 parked 4 cars away. Went and put a card under the wiper and the owner returned. A long conversation later and we found out it was his from new (had it 10 years) and didn't know of the Forum. Have invited him to our Newcastle hoons and he was positive about the card - we shall see.
I had to use one of my original design cards but feel the new ones on order, will leave a better impression.
