Anyone else have problems with Apple?

Post by bluespit » Mon Mar 06, 2017 6:07 pm

I quite regularly get the rotating beach ball on this site and eBay. No others. I also only have the problem on my MacBook Air and MacBook Pro. My iPad, Iphone and iMac are all fine.

Any ideas? Never had any Mac problems before so no idea where to start ( that's why I went to Mac from pic)

Cheers
now I'm about to have more time I've suddenly got less toys to play with!

I used to get that on my MBA if there was a hungry application running in the background - my usual suspect was MS Outlook. I switched away from Outlook and now rarely see it.

I use both a MacBook pro and an iMac and have never had that problem...

You are probably using Safari, try Chrome, that will often sort it this kind of problem.

yes I'm using safari

but a look round the internet suggested disabling plug-ins. I've don't this and had no more spinning balls so far

thanks, if it continues I'll give chrome a go

cheers
