Hello all, I’m new to this forum which I found by accident searching for my Z4 which I have just bought

I live in France where Z4’s are very scarce and being a proper BMW fan for the last 35-odd years I got looking for the Z4 coupé I was dreaming about

To cut a long story short mine comes from Switzerland where my daughter and son-in-law live. He has one too.

I have bought it sight unseen (a first) and will collect in a week’s time. No pictures yet, but 18” wheels, a spare set shod with winter tires (obligatory) and being a Swiss car perfectly maintained and specified with every conceivable option - including the better GPS, heated memory seats, double xenons etc etc. Further updates after collection. My daughter is driving it at the moment and says it really goes between 5000 and 7000 rpm. It’s a 3.0 si 265 bhp

I also am the proud owner (since 1989) of a zinnober red M635csi (E24, with the real M88 286bhp 24 valve engine) which to date has covered only 39000 miles. What’s occupying me at the moment with this one is the tyre question because it’s on quite old TRX millimetric tyres. I’m forever being made offers! My long distance regular is a 2009 530xda (E61) which is just sensational . . . .

Welcome to the forum OP, and excellent choice of Z4. (But I'm biased).

But your daughter is right, you will enjoy chasing the red line!

Hopefully you can share some photos once you have the car, but in the meantime we'd love to see your E24 - an M635CSi is a fantastic car!

By the way, you may have guessed that we like photos on here.
