N00b! EDIT: Who's just bought her first Z!!!

Postby winny - Tue Jul 10, 2012 2:09 pm

Hello!

We're about to buy our first Z after having MINI's for the last 5 years - currently selling my JCW so that I can fund a Z4.
Thought I'd join the forum and introduce myself as hopefully you'll be seeing a little more of me around!

Speak Soon,

Rachel

EDIT: Just bought a Z...*excited*

Had a test drive of a 2.5si at the weekend - all the power is at the top end, but loving a bit of RWD fun! The MINI is just torque-y and zippy right through the revs, but I've a convertible itch to scratch! :driving:

Glad to hear that topless will be your preference. You will notice quite a bit of banter between the Coupe and Roadster Fraternities. All good natured of course :D

N00b!

Postby aquazi - Tue Jul 10, 2012 2:46 pm

Hi and welcome along.

I initially looked at a 2.5si too... Ended up with a 3.0si... As cost and insurance were about the same... But the power difference is noticeable.... Much more torquey low down

Welcome Rachel - you will enjoy being on here, however you will need ready access to spare funds for all the mods that will tempt you, and perhaps a 'Mod Buddy' who will hand on heart swear they donated those springs / that stubby / the re-trimmed leather wheel etc. for free, if asked
