So it's a hello from currently sunny Leicestershire !
I sold my MR2 last week and pick up my 'new' Z4 SE 05 reg, black with red leather tomorrow :).
I thought I would come and join the forum as the MR2 owner's forum was full of really friendly people and good advice.

Hi fellow Leicesterian, and 'Yes' I am a girl - it was a bit androcentric over on MR2ROC too..... maybe girls are too worried about getting their messed up by driving a convertible :wink:

What a lovely welcome from you all - and I am pleased to note that there are quite a few Midlanders about. So what's the code with you lot - do you greet each other when encountering other zeds, or is that frowned upon and earn me odd looks ?

Well forum norm is to flash or wave but it's rare to get any response back from another zed driver who isn't a forum member.
 
Much as it was before then. I shall flash ( erm..... ) and wave as before then, and hope nobody thinks I am a mad woman.
 
Lovely Taz, who commented just now, sells forum stickers and tax disc holders.
Good way of recognising each other.

Hi and welcome, you will get waves and flashes and the ones that snub you.
Just tonight in the garage a Zed pulled in along side me, I thought I'd make conversation, sun was shining, all I said was "lovely day, you should put your roof down" he looked at me like I'd just thrown a bucket of water over him and just ignored me, what a bell end :x
