Just thought I'd post up as it's been awhile since last on the forum. Making a good recovery and taking it way easier than I've ever done.maxman wrote:Life's full of twists and turns.Get well soon so you can enjoy that special motor.
I pulled out the Beemer the other day and blew the stoor of it and took a few pics. I can only drive around the estate for now, still don't know when I'll be able to drive.

Must be hell not to be able to take this on the road in the weekends.
The install looks like factory, so clean. Very well done.

Hi Machine monkey, I'm just taking life real easy of late. My son's have been busy building a workshop/man cave so as I can work from home on engine build's. Our projects will still be built at the unit as I'm always looking for something to keep the noggin active.Machine monkey wrote:Really pleased to hear your making a good recovery Stevie

How's your V8 conversion doing on the Supra?
On another note my other half asked how much work would it take to put the MX5 project back to standard for her to use over the summer. I knew I had to word it correctly, so said to be honest I've got too much invested not to finish it. Conversation ended and 2 weeks later she turned up with this, sorry haven't taken any descent pics just at show room.
Think with what's been going on she say's we're only here once, so might as well make the most of it.

Well it sounds like taking it easy is doing you good.
Good on them. I have a daughter due in October I am hopping she will like cars....... If she dose not she will be having lots of boring days at car shows and track days. I am really looking forward to building and fixing stuff with her. I am sure your boys love it. Dont suppose you need another son????
The supra is going well. Its all back together and running. It should be getting the alignment and map done any time soon. It still needs a bit of paint and final fit out but its weeks not months away. The only problem we have at the moment is we cant select reverse. We think its a box problem and not from the work we have done to it?? We where really pleased that the frankin box we built has worked as well as it dose the clutch went in and worked 2nd time round.

Hi Marlon, thanks. I must say I'm liking the black hard top on the Zed. It's well suited to the red and works for me. Mazda did a limited run on their MX5's with black hard tops and they look as goodMarlon wrote:Good to hear from you - Zeds looking amazing
