I test drove an 07 M coupe and found I my knees against the dash. In the roadster (non M) I have a few inches to spare and its doable.

Do the coupes have less leg room or are the M seats bigger / thicker?

I'm 6'6" in case your wondering.
Hi Matt - your car looks mean in black ! Good to see someone of normal height ( I'm the same plus an inch  )

Welcome

Thanks! Its funny to see peoples reaction when we get out of that tiny car.

Do you have the M seats and is your Z a roadster? Still wondering if the M seats will reduce our leg room.

Yes have M seats - it's a roadster - my first zed was also a roadster but with normal seats - I do think the M seats have less room !

I know what you mean about the "looks " you get climbing in and out of the car - it's an art ! You describe it as "tiny " but over here it's a lot bigger than the usual MGF's and MX5's - over there I presume you have a lot of big muscle American sports cars.

The lights are excellent, although I fear you'll more than lighting to check the oil, as the 3.0si doesn't have a dipstick. I spent 15 minutes looking for mine.

Welcome along and the zed looks

Yes we have a lot of big vehicles over here, you have to drive in like a race car or you get cut off non stop.

Thanks for confirming the M-seats, I'm to long legged for the M-seats. Very disappointing!

Who makes a car without a dip stick?? so frustrating having to go inside the car and wait for the car to give me a reading, then come back and add more oil. I added 7 qts and it still showed a little low that day, few days later it showed it was correct.

O-well the free DIY mod came a lot brighter than I expected!

I note you said 'half cover' matt - be careful. There has been much posted about heavy half covers scratching the paintwork when used. My mate's black Zed was terribly marked by such a cover. I've had three types of half covers and stopped using the two heavier (proofed fabric) types due to them hazing and scratching the paint. I now only use a light plastic type. You can do a search and read more on the forum.
Now Porsche flat 6 experience, 986S & 981S.

I was about to pull the trigger on a heavy cover but Marlon saved me and my paint. He recommended the classicadditions.com half cover.

Project Bike rack:
After a bunch of research on the net, I picked up a 2" to 1 1/4" hitch adapter and created this sculpture.

The "rabbit ears" bolt to the steel bumper.

Very please with how it came out, the hitch sits tight up against the bumper cover and a ways back.

Well worth the wait - Notice the yellow reflectors have gone, really liking the 'stealth' look on this Zed

Thanks! Yes I installed the white reflectors and found them to be to bright so I added some static cling tint. Did the side blinker emblems also. :)

Nice weight reduction with the Advans VS the oem Style #108 rims.
