SI comes in both Sport and SE guise. The SI bit is to do with the engine.

Yes, so mine is a 3.0SI SE not the 3.0SI Sport (very confusing).
I've experienced m-sports seats and m-suspension as I had them on my previous 2.0 Zed.
I miss the m-sports seats but not the m-suspension (too hard for most driving conditions IMO)

Thanks for the info. Did you notice if the M seats took up more room than the standard seats? I would like to upgrade to the M-seats but can't afford to loose any leg room (I'm 6"6').
I did test drive an 07 M coupe and there wasn't enough leg room for me, I wasn't sure if it was the M-seats or because it was a coupe.

I can't believe that the seats would make that much difference. Surely they're not that different, it's just the bolsters being wider?

I have a few inches between my knees and the dash in my non-M seat convertible and in the M coupe my knees were touching the dash.
All seats were all the way back.
All seats were all the way back.

Re: Newbe ..... Just picked up an 2007 SI roadster
The main difference with the seats was side bolsters, so yes Wyldie you are correct. Normal driving I would say the m seats were more comfortable but when giving it the beans they hug you in place when cornering in a way that the standard seats can't match. Plus there is an extension on the edge of the seat for those with longer legs and I liked that pulled out to the max. As for leg room there was maybe slightly less in the m seats but I could always adjust to find the optimum position (I'm 5'11"). One day I will fit m seats to my Zed.

San Jose, California. Yes I'll watch the local used car adds and find one to sit in. The M seats sure are nice and comfortable.

Hi and welcome.
Black with black and black is a good colour choice. Just make sure it's not pitch dark when you take the pics! And then don't forget to post them here.
I am being very gentle with my request for pics in order not to cause another transatlantic incident. Should you ever bump into gtplus2 tell him that we're missing his long and extensive contribution to the Forum!

Enjoy the Zed
