Post by doccrx » Sat Oct 22, 2016 4:54 pm

Well I've gone a bought my first sensible car yesterday, never even driven one as of yet. Its a shame as its sitting on my drive and I won't be home untill the new year to drive it.

Going to keep it fairly standard, really looking forward to it though.

Matt.

Welcome along, nice choice of Zed there

You have come to the wrong place if you think you will get away with leaving it standard, the whippy will be the first to go

There are some great forum members in the Kent ish area that organise a few sunday drives that are well worth going on, so keep an eye out.

Hi and welcome.

As Stuartt said, good luck in keeping it standard.

Both Stuartt and me along with quite a few others meet up for Kent/Sussex runs, so keep your eyes open if your up for a run.

Hi and welcome. Thanks for the pic - looks nice, especially the whippy aerial. I have been on here 2.5 years and the only "mods" have been new wheel caps and ///M wheel badges!

Enjoy :driving:

Hi guys, it took me a while to work out what a "whippy" was, i'm presuming its the aerial lol.

Last time I had my own car in the UK was 6 years years ago I think, so im desperate to get home. Got a lot of learning to do as I've always owned early 90's japanese track cars.

Will be definitely up for some drives :driving:

Welcome to the Forum. :) Yep a Whippy's not an Ice cream, but a device for receiving radio signals and far superior to a stubby  Where are you stuck until Christmas, if you don't mind me asking?

Welcome OP!

Sounds like you have a pretty good job - but now you have a toy in the UK maybe it isn't so good!

Hope you have patience, and enjoy your Z4 when you do get here.

Nothing wrong with wood, your car is identical to mine apart from the auto stick on mine.
