Thanks for those links DMC, I have the Autoglym one as I treated my Smart Roadster soft top with it. Works a treat. Been looking at relocating roof motor videos. If only Durham wasn't 300 miles away!
If you try and take a cat apart the first thing you have is a non working cat.

Sunny day, so took it out for a first spin with the hood down:

Gave it a good clean and polish, washed and protected the roof, cleaned and fed the seats, checked levels and the roof motor drains. inside needs a better clean, but it will do for now. Great pootle around with the hood down though!

Yep, Bowser did mine a couple of weeks back and also supplies a custom panel to cover it in the boot. £200 all in. Took him about 90 mins.
He's a BMW technician, very thorough and professional job.
