Back in the fold again

Post by wayne1 » Thu Feb 02, 2017 5:05 pm

Hi Everyone

I used to be a member on here a few years back when I was the proud owner of an Alpina Roadster S before going over to Porsche and many other different marques since then. Now I'm back as I am due to pick up a Z4MC this weekend.

Incase some of you wonder why I have registered as a newbie, the simple answer is that I couldn't sign in under my old user name.

I do have a question however, as most newbies do.

Where can I obtain a clear 3rd brake light to replace the existing red one? This was one of many mods I did to the roadster and hope that the clear light unit is available for coupe models also.

Nice to be back
Wayne

welcome... back! You know what the score is... pics

Which MC have you gone for?

Also, I might be wrong, but my thinking was that there isn't a clear option (OEM anyway) for the coupe.

Thanks Tom

Yes I know the score and will do when I get it. It's Imola Red, black interior.

I suspected that there may not be a clear light available, if it were i suspect many would have fitted one

I like the way you put that, playing down the Porsche to the Z4. Unfortunately the Cayman went long ago now and I the world’s worst when it comes to taking photos, not sure I have any.

Funny how things turn around though, this time I’m parting with a Carrera for a Z4

As above don't believe there is a clear 3rd light on the hatchback.

Welcome back though

Welcome back - odd that you couldn't access your old user name (unless you've forgotten the pw?), have you asked the Mods for help?
Looking forward to seeing pics of your new M coupe :)
