Welcome OP.

I'm guessing your budget got significantly stretched then!

Plenty of love for the 4 cylinder turbos on here, and a 28i should be pretty quick out of the box.

Looking forward to the photos.

Finally made it home last night after an epic day of driving.

But that radio!?

It's a BMW PROFESSIONAL 663 and I couldn't for the life of me get it to play music from my phone. Does anyone know if it supports that or how to do it please?

According to the FAQ:
"The standard Bluetooth only allows for handsfree telephony. In order to play music via Bluetooth, "extended Bluetooth" needs to have been added as an option (standard on some models/trims) to cars built from September 2010."
Maybe yours doesn't have extended BT?

Oh dear. Anyone know a good workaround? Should I just get the 3.5mm jack plug lead out?!

Welcome to the forum Jon

Great car. I've had my car 3 months now and still smiling when I drive it. I only have the 2.0 but it's still enough power when I need it. Can't really put your foot down in London.
