Soon to be Z4 owner says hello!

Post by Jon » Sun Feb 12, 2017 9:42 am

Hello

I'm going to be picking up my Z4 in the next week or so.

Been looking since October or thereabouts.

Originally started with a budget of £4k and a plan to get an early E85 now bought a 2013 E89! Funny how things change!

Will update with pictures etc in time!

Yes - the 2 litre 4 cylinder turbo, giving you plenty of power and good fuel economy  There are several 28i owners on here.

Probably a bit late to ask - but was this a good model choice!?

I will let other E89 owners have their say, but its always down to personal choice. The purists will say the straight six 3 litre is the way to go, however there are many 4 pot E89 owners who swear by them.
Lets see what the forum has to say . . .

Funny thing is when I originally started looking I was only looking at the 6 cyls. I think that was more of a performance based choice rather than a purist's one though!

Hello and welcome.

Hope you enjoy you E89, but you'll be missing all the trials and tribulations of owning a E85 :D
