Hello all!

I first came to be aware of the z4-forum during my long (nigh on year

) search for a well looked after and well loved Z4, for my VERY first car, (I fell in love with them years ago when I received a lift in one

) down here in mercurial (seriously the weather is madness down here) Melbourne, Australia.
Such knowledge did I gain that I swore I would join the moment I finally acquired my baby
...well I've found and had him (indeed, my Zed is a HIM!) for just under 3 months now and feel it is my duty and honour to make a first post!

Without further yammering on my part (I do that a lot I'll be frank) allow me to introduce myself, and my car Zander!

Based on a TV programme we have here called "Escape Down Under" I can't believe it rained in Australia! But then I was in Melbourne in October 2010 and it was about 8 degrees C - had to get some weather gear in Victoria Market!

Anyway, enjoy your Z4 OP - just don't hoon!

Well unless you know some quiet back-roads.

And don't go for it on Holiday weekends with the doubled fines!

How do you guys put up with that sort of cr*p?
