2.0i any good?
Great advice thank you I'll keep lookingpaulgs1000 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 18, 2017 4:51 pmTaken a look and you'll be wanting the Sports seats very quickly after purchase. You are in 3.0si money just - as mentioned above and also we have Cherrym who drives with us in his 2.5si and I've driven it - great further advice above - cheaper, less sought after and nearly as good on the road.Blueman wrote: ↑Tue Apr 18, 2017 12:18 pm Found this one 28 miles from me http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... sed&page=1

2.0i any good?
Depends what you want from it,but if you find a Clio 197 gutless then the same will be the case with a 2.0 z4 imo.Blueman wrote: ↑Tue Apr 18, 2017 12:35 am Hello everyone, Last summer I owned a 2.2i and regrettably sold it due to it being a bit of a lemon but loved to drive it. I since bought a Clio 197 and while it's fun feels a bit gutless low down and lacks the convertible. I'm Looking at getting a newer Zed this time around (2007-2008 model) to hopefully save me on age related issues. How is the 2.0i to drive compared to the 2.2i?
They can be fun,but ultimately lack power for alot of people.
You can get some great 3.0's for reasonable money nowadays, and they are great cars, and can be driven at full performance once you have got used to it,and are very rewarding as a result.
The 3.0 m sports had 18inch wheels on most of them,although 17s were Standard,most had 18inch 108s or similar,when i was looking years ago,so slightly higher costs for tyres,but negligible,tbh.
Plenty of fun can be had in the 2.0,but the best all rounder is the 3.0.
Definitely worth getting a 3.0,you won't regret it, Or as said,a good 2.5si with the 215hp,which was not far off the 03-05/06 3.0's 231bhp,and almost as quick.
Happy new car hunting

2.0i any good?
Sounds like you are still trying to decide exactly what you want OP!
FWIW I don't think you would find a 2.0 litre particularly exciting after your Clio - it would probably only suit you if your change was all about having a convertible!
I had a 123d (so plenty of torque) before I got my first Z4, but was pleasantly surprised by how much low-down grunt the 3.0Si has - and it revs to 7,000, so not much less than your Clio!
Before I bought a Z4 I sort of wondered about a 335i Coupe, but IIRC the 0 to 62 time quoted by BMW is only 0.2 slower for a Z4C - and earlier 335is are in the £500 a year tax band (unlike 330is and Z4 3.0Sis).
Hope you find something that fits the bill soon. (And if it is a Z4 don't forget to post photos)!
