Well after selling my z4 due to the impracticality of a two seater and 2 kids, I have regretted the decision ever since!! The x3 I bought is staying but I wanted a toy to play with.

I've been looking at z4s longingly for the last 18 months but never really found the right car at the right price. Those I have found have gone quickly.

My love for z4s never went away and when you look at what's available for similar money, nothing comes close imo.

So, i had an agreed budget of £4K. (Agreed with the wife). I wanted a black car, red seats, 2.5 or 3.0 but it had to have 19 inch alloys. Preferably bmw ones in as new condition! Oh and clear headlights. Oh and a manual. If I didn't find the above, the car would cost 1000s more as I would have to change it all! Mmmm, a tall order......

So as if by magic, last night I found exactly what I was after in my price range.

So today was a mad rush to go and see the car before it went. I'm now, again, the proud owner of my 2nd zed!!

Thanks Marlon, yeah I'm really chuffed with it. The paintwork needs a bit of work, Swirling etc but a good excuse for some bonding time!!

Thanks mate, yeah bbs twists, id never seen them on a zed but I really like them. The previous owner had them stripped and powder coated black and they're in great condition.

The one issue is the white balancing weights, they look awful so need to investigate some options.

Nice one! :)

Looks like you've picked one with some tasteful mods already. Facelift front and rear lights are a big bonus!
Will have to get a ZHP on there as the gear knob looks like it's on stilts! Did you get a 2.5 or 3.0 in the end?
