In the spirit of keeping a diary of my life with my new (to me) e86 coupe i thought id share pictures of the car with 'new' wheels. They are infact refurbished oem mv2. The picture is not the clearest but the wheels are painted in an anthracite which has a shimmer to it in sunlight. Though i did love the original 108 split rims it was less of a faff to replace than refurb them. I wanted to stick with the oem and feel the colour gives a pleasing twist on the standard look. What does everyone else think? Detractors also welcome

Firstly, welcome to a fellow Coupe owner.
Not sure which I prefer - my first had 135s but now I have 108s. I know refurbing 108s is expensive, but they are so much easier to clean.
I'm also undecided on colour. Black looks OK on your Silver Coupe and would have suited my Ruby Black one, but I wouldn't fancy them on my current Montego Blue one.
If I was looking for wheels for a silver or black Coupe I think I'd be onto the newly refurbed 108s crabbo has for sale, with charcoal centres and silver rims - but again not with Montego Blue!
Oh and you've got a stubby, or did you buy it with that?

Hi and welcome. Looks smart.
If the car came with a stubby it's not tricky to replace it with a proper aerial!
Enjoy

Thanks for the vote of confidence
I bought it with the stubby aerial and plan to keep it. Much prefer it to the longer one.
@z4pilot : i need to replace my phone! The problem is that the exterior lens broke and its not had brilliant focus since then
