Newbie Help

Post by markyp » Sun May 28, 2017 3:47 pm

Hi All

Bumped into the meet at Kemble this morning, spoke to couple of guys , thank you for your welcome and advise .
I have had the the tire pressure light and abs light lit up since I changed wheels , the new rims are the correct size front and rear but low profiles rather than the run flats I got the car with . I can't get the lights to reset , tried holding down tire pressure button , any ideas ?

Thanks Mark

Hi Mark, glad you found the forum.

Can't help with the lights - mine reset at the first attempt but I'm sure another member will be along soon to offer advice.

Why not post some photos of the Zed for us whilst you are waiting

I guess you did this:
Start engine.
Hold button until amber light illuminates on instrument panel.
Drive off for a short distance.

The "drive off bit" seems to be the part that gets missed off most often (as it does not always seem to be necessary)..

Hi Mark, good to meet you today. So it didn't work then ?? Like I said, on my car I got the red light and just held the button until it went amber, it then went out.
Someone will be along who should be able to give more advice. Any way, welcome to the forum, Oh and we demand photos of your car too.
