Newbie in Derby. Wheel alignment help.

Post by Motley61 » Wed Jun 28, 2017 3:54 pm

Hi newbie here from Derby having recently bought a ruby black Z4 coupe. Can anyone advise on where I can get wheel alignment done by someone who knows about z4 coupes. I have read on here that only Hunters alignment garages can do, is that right. Does it make a difference to the alignment that run flats have been taken off the car and suspension lowered by the previous owner.?... any advise appreciated, cheers Gaz :?

Welcome to the board Gaz. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable than me we be along shortly, on the wheel alignment question. My local mechanic tweeks mine with a plumb line and a vernier scale.

Hi and welcome to the forum Gaz.

Hunter alignment seems to be the way to go, and if your car has had suspension changed an alignment is probably a good idea!

Now please humour us and post a photo (or more) of your car - we like photos on here!

Plus a Ruby Black Coupe would bring back memories of my first Coupe. :)
Coupes because stunning!

Hughes Bros In Derby near to the Pentagon roundabout are good for all things BMW, they are located on Chequers Lane off the old Nottingham Road, they also have a page on Facebook
