Greetings all. I am purchasing my first Z4 and have some (probably stupid) questions.
Was there an actual "M" version of the Z4; NOT the appearance package...the actual M suspension, engine etc and if so what years were they made?
Also I am having trouble adjusting to the idea of paddle shifting despite having owned an Audi with it as I enjoy the feel of a stick. Thoughts? What's the best Z4 option if I want a standard?
THANKDS!

It would help to know whether you are looking at the 2003 - 2008 E85 roadster / 2006 - 2008 E86 coupe or the 'current' post 2008 E89 folding hardtop version of the Zed? As LimpMisfit pointed out there is no 'M' version of the E89.
Welcome btw
