Hi all,
My name is Ewan and I'm an alc... no wait.. wrong place
I'm a first time Z4 owner - pick it up on Thursday evening!
It's a nice low mileage mineral white 2013 18i. Not much on the speed front (yet) but it has the right amount of toys to offset that for now.
Future plans will include debadging, a stubby aeriel and probably a remapping sometime int he not too distant future
I'm a long term Mini owner first BMW one in 2003 and have 4 since and this is my forst foray out of the brand for a long time! - Previously to that I had 7 or so classic minis, so y'know, not shy with the tools and... wee bit obsessed. Fancied a bit of a change tho

Hi Ewan - welcome to the forum! See your addiction is already started with the proposed mods; thin end of the wedge there, I'm sure your mod list will grow somewhat as you frequent this forum
Oh, and be prepared for requests for pics of the car; post some up as soon as you get it

Cheers guys!
I just came from an R56 JCW - brilliant wee car, but I had it for 4 years and fancied a change (actually that was my second JCW )
Sad times removing all the mods and getting it back to standard! I'll be back in a Mini at some point, I don't doubt it!
Now I need to sell all the bits to fund my NEW mods
Here's a quick pic from the dealer site:

Hi Burple, nice zed
They look neat with the badges off (badger cull?) A decent remap can really give these cars some extra wallop as well Rob

Welcome to the forum Burple.
Lovely looking Z4, and those wheels are fantastic - enjoy!
Mrs Tidy had an 03 Mini One followed by an R56 Cooper - love that car! But not as much as my E86.

Thanks all, I do love the wheels.. can't help thinking they'd look great in shadow chrome too tho... hmmm..
That dyno pic above is pretty much decided for me that the 18i would be a great place to start, rather than trying to find an equally low mileage 20 or 28i that wasn't at the other end of the country from me!
How does it change the drive? Gonna take a bit of getting used to coming down to 155bhp from 211!
1 sleep to go!
