That means that you cant stand it if someone disagrees with you.

Oh yeah, like I didnt do that here. I'm the one here that pointed out to the TS that pre-fl and fl cars have different gearboxes, and that pre-fl and fl cars have different bumpers/taillightstyles including pictures and whatnot.
Grow up man.

I presume Mikes busy fixing roof motors also.

Have a nice day!

So what about this car then?
http://autopazar.co.uk/3736/used-bmw-z4 ... rettyPhoto

Is this a forum car? (looks quite good imho so it may be)
Whats the story on this car?
Factory fitted or later modded? (both possible of course)
I'd like to know the vin# (is that something you can get from the number plate?)

I think the repeaters are the indicators in the headlight?
And the roundels on the side are also white on option code S785A.
And so are the indicators in the taillights.

So I still have no idea what he's talking about when he says that pre facelift cars were never supplied with clear repeaters in the UK, when option code S785A was availabe. :?
Indicators are not what we in the English language are referring to when we say repeaters. We mean side repeaters. U pedantic so and so. You really have a problem. Being a know it all. Mike and Jamie help people and do a bloody good job helping them. U just want to correct them or anyone else who u think u can get one up on. How have You helped the OP out by pointing out German cars? They have helped by explaining a simple method of recognising cars in the UK. Like the OP
asked....

Think those have been retrofitted as the 3.0i come with silver innered lights on both pre-fl and FL , one you linked has black inners

Yes that makes sense.

Somehow I like the black inserts better.

Please don't all fall out over some headlights. I did mean the fronts were available, please see this old post from Phil which shows them.
