Automate electric mirrors by ignition status
I have a facelift Z4 06/06 build with electrical folding mirrors. The mirrors can be triggered to fold/unfold using the button in the car, but surely it can be set up so that when the ignition is switched off the mirrors fold and when switched on the unfold automatically. I have looked in the user guide and this wasn't mentioned. Anyone know how this setting can be applied? Thanks!

Hi and welcome,
Your question is actually the subject of another thread running now.
The only way to be sure is to ask the dealer for a list of all programmables options for your car as they change by year, model and market.
Gut feeling is it cannot be done without an non BMW module being fitted.
Don't forget to post some pics in the new member section
EDIT - Damn PVR beat me to post while I was messing with the TV....lol

Just spoke to BMW, they say on some older cars it can be programmed to do it (eg ive seen it on a 52 reg 3 series with it) but on the Z4 it cant, that includes the NEW one too..
