What's your next car?

As per the title really what's your next car likely to be? Not a fantasy garage question but what can you realistically see yourself buying in the next few years to replace or sit alongside your zed?

I'll start, in a few years time I'll probably be driving around in a Porsche 997 Turbo/GT3/GT2 or possibly a V8 M Coupe if they build one.

Will most likely be another BMW as the local dealer is first rate.
Likely won't get a replacement for my 06 3.0si until the next gen of Z4 or whatever is next comes out.
So will watch with interest what comes next.
If I had to replace my Zed today with something different it would almost for sure be a 335i....

I don't know really... There isn't really anything out there that I can see myself in just yet... Prob wouldn't go for the current "M", as I always like to change to something a bit different, and it's too similar to what I have now... I want a convertible, so that rules out quite a lot too... Jag XK convertible... mmm, maybe... might need to grow on my a bit.

So sorry, but I have no idea

I WANT a Gallardo!

*stamps feet like a 4 year old*...

That or a GT3/GT3 RS would do me fine. :D

Was given a drive in this one yesterday at VMax...totally awesome. Redlining at 8500, topping out at 179mph and grip and noise to die for. I've always had half an eye on one, but after yesterday my mind is made up. I WILL own one of these soon

Problem with the exotic cars is all the booty one gets. I would have to be single again before I went into that arena. :P

Next car for me needs to be an M3 cab. Won't be new, but it'll be new to me. I'm rather stuck on the whole convertible thing now.

I certainly have no plans for the immediate future, but if I had to replace the zed right now it would be one of these:

> If I wanted to be "practical" I would go with a 335i Coupe (the rear seat would come in handy shuttling the kids around).

> If I wanted to go wild (plug your noses everyone) I would go with a heavily mod'd Mustang GT (not very practical for a daily driver, but a pure automotive-adreanalan rush).

> If I wanted to strike a balance, I would go with an M3.

All that said, the next car I am likely to purchase would be a replacement for my '99 Explorer (winter driver) - I am thinking about something like an RX350.

And since Giles opened up the can of exotic worms, the car I will own some day is:

I'm sure they're awesome, but i think the rest of the Ferrari baggage would put me off.

i'm saving for either a used 997 GT3 or the new nissan GTR. won't be selling the Z4 though, its my first car and i'll be keeping it for as long as it can run :D
