The hot wire cutter seems to give a better finish as it fuses the cut edge into a smooth wall and doesn't distort the rest of the slab

Use code B15MT10 for an additional 10% off, so £225 for the 3 cabinets. Saving £275!

Seems like a very good deal.

*Edit* Link appears to fail every time, just go to halfords > Motoring > Garage Equipment > Tool Chests and there's a banner for a combo 5 drawer cabinet, 7 drawer chest and 4 drawer chest for £250

It was something a neighbor did years back when I lived in Brighton, as I recall it was quite a simple process, he just traced the outlines on a styrofoam sheet, made a hole in the section that would be cut out, threaded the wire of the cutter through the hole then cut out inside the traced line - once finished he'd flipped the sheet over so you couldn't see the outlines he'd drawn.

It all looked very neat and tidy but I suppose it depends how steady your hands are and would probably be easier if you had/made a flatbed hot wire rather than a hand-held one - something like this http://www.hhhh.org/joeboy/resources/ho ... utter.html
