OK, So here goes with the pricing!

Scorpion System Number: SBM071
MSRP: £899.00 inc VAT - Most Scorpion dealers automatically give a 10% discount, which would see the price at £809.10 inc VAT (plus any Shipping Charges of course).

I'm just waiting on an e-mail back regarding the proposed lead times and will post them up as soon as I know.
The guys who've PM'd me already will have a Forum Deal price before close of play today.

If anyone else would like a Forum Deal price, Please feel free to drop me a message.
Many thanks, Al.

Looks a nice system.
I also really like the eisenman systems,which are available for similar money,for the 3.0i,and for slightly more for the 3.0i(2003-2005), you can get a quad pipe system :D

The Scorpiospn exhausts are good,used them years ago on cars/mates cars :driving:

The only slight downside with the Eisenman systems is that they aren't actually a complete cat-back, so don't include any front pipes.
They require cutting into your existing system.

Plus for many people they are a little over the top in terms of Loudness/Volume.

The Scorpion System is supplied as:
* Left Hand Front Pipe
* Right Hand Front Pipe
* Centre Silencer
* Left Hand Link Pipe
* Right Hand Link Pipe
* Rear Silencer Assembly
* Installation Kit

I should really have mentioned that in the above post :)

No worries at all.

I believe it is a 304 Grade Stainless steel which is the industry standard for Stainless exhausts, the very same used by Milltek Sport, Jetex, Pipewerx etc.

Yeah,301/304 is the usual,as far as I know, for decent exhausts.
I like the Milteks too...used to make certain exhausts for early z4s,but then stopped and moved onto the newer models,as happens.

Look forward to seeing a video clip of this if you have it fitted to yours yet?

There's one a page or two back. It's only a little taster clip unfortunately as my recording equipment is a bit pants :(
The images scattered through this thread are of the system being developed on my car (It's still on there ) ;)

Depends how much your local exhaust place charge and what the condition of your existing flange studs are like.
If they are as bad as mine were, The studs will need to be cut and drilled out and replaced with Nuts/Bolts. (Potentially 2-2.5 hours)
If the flange studs/nuts aren't too seized and can be wound off easily enough you'd probably be looking at around 1.5 hours.

Hope this helps.

Tried to get a couple more videos today but let down by the poor microphone on the iPhone again. It seemingly picked up nothing but wind noise.

Al, is it just cabin noise you want to record? I have recording equipment, as I do music production work such as recording vocalists. I can pop over if you like one day? As far as exterior recording, it would have to be static and drive by samples, as I don't have anything that would defuse the wind passing over the mic.

Hi Ged,

That would be ideal!
Interior sounds, Drive by sounds, standing start sounds etc.
That's all I'm after just so people have an idea what it's going to be like.
