1st outing for the new zed

Post by jamesditchy » Sun Feb 19, 2017 9:45 pm

After having it in for a service and full check over, today was the first run out for my replacement zed. A good drive out from Liverpool down to Llangollen then a circuit of the evo triangle then up through Ruthin and onto heswall for tea before heading home. Loved the extra power and the car never missed a beat. Tracked it on an app but damn battery died just before Ruthin. You get the idea tho.

Looks like a great driving day out, thanks for posting :driving:
I went from a 2 litre to the 3.0si too - its quite a jump in power isn't it. Can't fault the 3.0si, whether its a full days spirited driving or just pootling around town, it never misses a beat :)

Yes it was a great route. Hardly any traffic about either. After the triangle the road up to Ruthin was another beauty. The power difference is fantastic, especially in sport. Looking forward to the Galloway run in April even more now.

Hi, what app are you using to track your route? Looks like a useful thing to have.

Congrats on the new Zed. 8) So that's where the EVO triangle is. That route reminds me of the bike rides we used to do out to the Horseshoe Pass via Moel Famau and Words End. Love North Wales :)
