Steady Cruise 11th Nov around Lancashire and Yorkshire

Post by Lanky Lancs Lad » Tue Oct 31, 2017 11:36 am

I've planned a route with a couple of other members for Saturday 11th November.
If any other members wish to attend please let me know.
Following from Jamie's meet in October some members wanted another, so here it is.

Points around the meet on Saturday 11th November.

The route starts at McDonalds in Colne postcode BB8 9HH (meet 9 am leaving 9.15 am) sorry it's early, but want to avoid tooo many weekend drivers later in the day.
We are going on a trip out to Reeth (quick coffee and chat), over to Sedbergh then possible out the Trough of Bowland and finishing around Bolton By Bowland.

Due to the weather this time of year the route may change.

Pace will be steady within the speed limits.

Cheers
Daz

Daz, how long do you reckon the full route will take?

Hi Sean

Driving time would be a around 4 hours plus coffee stop en route and lunch at the end of the drive.
The extended route taking in Tan Hill and the Trough of Bowland would be around 5 hours.
We can make a decision on the day depending on weather and how long others want to be out for.

Cheers

Hi Daz, sounds like a great run but unfortunately I don't think I can make it. If things change I will let you know.

Funnily enough I just looked at the weather and it’s looking good ... but cold !

Still proof of the pudding will be looking out the window on Saturday morning

Have you published a route ?

Don’t recall seeing one in here
