Midlands Breakfast Club (UK) April 26th

Post details of upcoming meets and events in here.

Midlands Breakfast Club (UK) April 26th

Postby Ben. - Thu Jan 15, 2009 12:40 am

I was thinking that if there is enough interest, we could try and get a club Line-Up (Z4's).
Basically we can have cars in the main area on show. :roundel:

The Midlands Breakfast Club is very informal and welcoming. We just park the cars, show them off and take a look at what else is on offer.

I know that April 26th is some time away but I am stuck on a boat at anchor in the Caribbean with nothing else to do!

The meet is at the RAF Museum Cosford, Shropshire. :cpilot:

If anybody wants to show an interest, please reply to this post. I will get in touch with the organisers.

Take a look here: http://www.midlandsbreakfastclub.co.uk/index.htm

Count me in for that line up. Last opportunity before we slip from production car to classic....

Check the date though I think it's actually the 26th April

(There is one on this Sunday, but weather looks likely to put me off bothering attending)

I've been before so I would be interested. I teach fitness calsses every Sunday but with that much notice I can get time off.

Don't forget that the museum is free entry also as it's lottery funded. I went round last time and it's a great place to walk round. Loads of planes and all inside.

I'm interested, but it really depends on where I'm working at the time.

If it's still London, then I'll probably just carry on down south afterwards. However, if it's Dubai, Moscow, St Petersburg or Stockholm, then I probably won't make it.

Put me down for now and I'll cancel later if needs be.

I don't think I'll be using the M6/M54 route though, the A49 to A41 are much nicer and it takes less than an hour to Shrewsbury

Good work Ben

Did they specify a maximum number as IIRC they limit entries per club?

I hope I don't have to have a clean car, as I'm not one of those who carries detailing gear in the boot 'just in case' :exitright:

I think it is 10 max if they are busy, I'm sure we will be fine.
My car will be clean apart from what gets on it on the way!

Apparently the busiest one yet.
They had 180 cars pre booked and an extra 120 arrive.

They deffinatly need some Z's there.

So April 26th:

AndyZ4.....................Z4 Roadster
Breaker.....................Z4 Coupe
Andy........................Z4 Roadster
mmm-five..................Z4 M Coupe

There's a Z4C in picture #45.

BTW, all those cars look clean - I warned you I wouldn't be doing anything other than a drive-through/hand/jet wash on the way :x
