P.s Woody will not mind me showing pics of my old wheels :P
Ahhhh "No.1" is looking mighty fine there Paza :) I don't mind at all mate!

This is very tempting, I have got 2 weeks booked off (23rd March-5th April) but Mrs W wants to go skiing from 24th-31st March so I might not be back in time :(

Will keep you posted...
Woody that would be amazing on so many levels if you could make it , the guys I go with are awesome bunch you would get on with them really well. You should really consider it . I’m picking a mate up in London on the way to Dover where am meeting up with the guys would be good to convoy!
I would love to see the old M on the move ! would happily follow that for a 1000 miles :D :driving:
Stark wrote:So are you guys planning on doing the ring too?
O yes only a couple of " Chicken" laps for me , it’s more about doing it for me then really "racing" public days at the ring are not the best place to start :) , am just going to cruise a couple of laps, just so I can tick the box!
Stuart Truman wrote:That might be a nice trip... :?
Stu if you fancy it come along, all are welcome, once again I would be happy to be convoyed by 2 Imola Red Z4M's  on the way to Dover! Am also going to take is easy when I go around , not thrashing her

Ruby you should, it will be an epic road trip! Honestly when I did COT 12 I loved it amazing roads , stunning scenery and most of all great fun. We are all on Walkie Talkies so the banter is a real crack on the drive there and back :)

Patrick, what was the fuel cost like when you did this in the M last time? Rough idea for budgetary purposes?

I could be co-pilot or + 1 witch ever way you want it. I gt half driving duties with number 69 right??? :poke:
My little blue zed is in lots of bits. With lots of things started and not many finished! I may have found the limits of my time and ability!!

Only if you buy her from the dealer I just traded her in against an M... ;)

Serious about a potential co-pilot though if I do decide to do this, not sure daughter would want to do this trip. Might ping a petrolhead friend (although he'd probably want to then bring his hopped up RX-7...)

 ... well you may need to put up with the "The Raptor & Chewbacca Impressions as well"

The M was fantastic Stu she did about 28 mpg I think was really impressed as I drove her VERY hard during points , so not bad at all!!! And on a run 2 up she was pulling early 30’s so really quite economical for a performance car
