Hi all,

Mid Week Run - Tuesday 19th July

Been in contact with PorthoZ4 and he fancies a steady run out on Tuesday. Not really looking at a hoon as the traffic will determine but just an enjoyable run out, to and around the Lakes, stopping somewhere to have lunch.

Meeting up at 9.30am at the Manor House Inn, Cartaway Heads on the A68 (DH8 9LX - near Derwent Reservoir) on Tuesday morning.

Intend to head out to the Lakes via Alston and Hartside and Penrith from there it's flexible but we'll probably include a couple of passes (Kirkstone for one).

If anyone fancies joining us for the day send me a pm or post on here. :thumbsup:

Hi Paul, can you put me andrea down , be gud to meet up wit northern pensioners, soz I mean retirees driving club :D
Gonna have a nice steady drive up mon, via hawes, buttertubs, etc,

Count me in but I need to be back for 4pm so may have to leave you along the way somewhere - see you at 9.30 :thumbsup:

Not sure if I am going to raise or lower the average age limit though lol
UNDERSTEER is when you hit the fence with the front of the car,
OVERSTEER is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car,
HORSEPOWER is how fast you hit the fence,
TORQUE is how far you take the fence with you.

You're always up at the crack of dawn on the morning of a run Moz! :D

Have a good one guys. You have the perfect day for it. I am in Cumbria just setting off to Manchester for my hols and the weather is amazing. Not a cloud in the sky.

Saw a Valencia orange e89 yesterday on the Cockermouth - Carlisle road yesterday. Thought it may have been you Allan.

Sorry mate wasn't me. there's a 2ltr in VO kicking about that the salesman at lloyds told me a guy ordered after seeing mine in the dealership waiting for me to pick it up :D

Cracking day out chaps, just back in from my meeting after the drive :thumbsup:

Great to meet up with everyone and had a very enjoyable drive - Paul that Z4M sounds great and I think you should just get rid of the 3ltr lol. Oh and many thanks for the drink, my shout next time :thumbsup:

Look forward to some pics later and hope everyone got back safe and sound.

Craig, sorry I had to leave you but time was pressing and as much as I would have loved Hartside again I would have been somewhat late!!
