Hi all,
Is there any members up in Scotland? From what I see most people seem to be 'dan sath'
Would be keen to meet up with local owners and pick their brains for a much help and advice as possible.
I'm Lothians but also spend a lot of time through in Glasgow

Alright? Have you ever met up with other owners at all? Is there any Scottish meet ups you know of?
I'm also looking for garage recommendations so if you know of any that'd be great. My next task is to relocate the roof motor to the boot!

Craig3.2 usually organises any Scottish meets as well as the national although will have less time in the future as he is about to become a dad.
Loads of guys here in Scotland though just spread out a bit. I'm on the West coast at Fort William.

Great roads up that way! I'm originally from Glasgow and used to do the Glencoe drive regularly each winter!
I do like where we live but the driving is far better in the west!

I'm now in central Edinburgh too but originally from Longniddry and looking to move back out to East Lothian.
I've failed so far to get myself to a meet. Maybe in the next 12 months I'll get there.

Yeah the roads are great and the tourist numbers are starting to drop off from the Summer frustration although my idea of traffic is probably different to that of a city dweller !brazenskies wrote:AlfaScozzesi wrote:Craig3.2 usually organises any Scottish meets as well as the national although will have less time in the future as he is about to become a dad.

Had to pop back to work this evening and decided to come back the back way. A nice wee road from Neptunes staircase to the Commando Memorial.
Anyone recognise the minature Scottish landmark in the photo? A bit easy for any Scots but cool all the same

Yeah it's the minature models of them that toured the world before the larger bad boys were made.
They are at Neptunes Staircase in Fort William at the moment for a few weeks. Stopped by when I took my wee back road earlier this evening.
You can see the scale of the real thing by the wee man in the last photo.

Here's me at the real Kelpies a few months ago!
More Scottish meetings are badly needed, great roads and even better scenery!
