The Italian driving philosophy - there's no point in a rear view mirror because what's behind you no longer exists... Great roads, but nearly collecting a bonnet mascot in the shape of a psychotic biker, overtaking on the wrong side of the road around a blind bend, was an eye opener!Beetlegav wrote:Was a good run out
I think we were a bit too keen for everyone else to keep up at the start we got a fair pace ahead but there's only so much looking in your mirror you can do

Some pics from today
The courtyard at Gawthorpe Hall has to be one of the best finishing locations – well done Andy and the cakes were good too.
I will post up the video later (problems uploading it)

Looks like you all had a good day out. Wish I could have made it but I've been a bit poorly recently. Hopefully I'll be fighting fit next time.

You lot ever get over the other side of Pendle Hill to Barrowford, my old stomping ground?
Some nice pubs there.

What a shame. White bear was literally my local back in the 90's!
Coming originally from Liverpool, although not really having a scouse accent, it took about 4 years before the locals stopped asking me 'yur nut frum rewnd ere are ye?' Lol
Happy days.
