No worries Vince. I think Mr Tidy was up for a spin afterwards to Box Hill? If thats happening I may be able to stick around for this too.
That sounds good and is a possibility for me to join in, I will try to free up the afternoon
Hi guys, my Z4 got a clean(ish) bill of health at TWG this week (after the amber EML!) so I may even get out of bed early for the run around Sussex! But I'd still be up for a trundle after, because by that time of day it's never going to be a blast!

But the best bit has to be meeting local Z4 enthusiasts!
Glad to hear your Zed is sorted Mr Tidy. I know it's an early start but will be a good drive & hopefully we will encounter very little traffic. If you can make it which meeting point is best for you?

Foxbridge GC to Petworth in 10 minutes will make for an exciting drive! Realistically we'll need at least 15 mins to do that. However, the current contingent meeting at Petworth have lengthy drives to get there, so I guess 5-10 mins either way isn't going to spoil the day!
///M Roadster. 2007 Black/Black. Rear spoiler, whippy aerial, mud flaps and gimp-style wind deflector! :)

Google states it's an hour and 5 mins from Winchester but the 272 is a fast road (cambered corners, whoever designed and built it is a legend) so we should be good for 8 at Petworth.

I presume a little bit of horrible weather isn't going to put you roadster boys off? :poke:

In all seriousness, are people still going if it's raining? I'm game but don't want to go if nobody else is.

Weather forecast has improved a bit, so hopefully it will continue to do so.

If it is hosing, it is a little difficult to chat outside.

As I have a coupe, with a sunroof, guess that makes me an "in-betweener" then

A bit of rain wouldn't stop me, but as PVR says if it's too hard to be able to get out of the car then there is little point and maybe a bit dangerous if some roads get flooded

A vigorous area of low pressure is expected to move northeast across southern Britain on Sunday. This will be accompanied by a period of heavy rain and southwesterly gales. Gusts of 45-55 mph could occur inland, particularly over Sussex and Kent, with gusts of 60-65 mph possible in exposed south coastal locations.

Please be aware of the risk of difficult driving conditions due to localised surface water flooding and possible debris from trees.
