Newlands corner meet, 20th November.

Nice to meet you all, was a good turn out in the end. Driving wasn't too treacherous either, well apart from following RickRob through a river at one point. Water up to the top of the tyres depth too!

Already had the trees worth of leaves removed from the front grill. There was no way I was putting it away without cleaning it after it's swim!

A great meeting. Weather good - only rained a bit whilst at Newlands Corner. Yes, that flooded road I took Roundozo and Darkangelv2 down was indeed rather more flooded than I thought. No dramas though, we all got to the other side!

Now home and Ifold bathed in sunshine.

Hi guys, we really enjoyed our trip from Swindon to the Newlands meet! Great to meet you all, surprised I was the only E89 We also enjoyed the trip to Box hill dodging the Lycra 'warriors' up the twisting road to the top of Box hill with stunning views!
A bit chilly and wet at first but conditions soon improved and with the help of a bacon and egg bap with a cup of coffee all was well.
Traffic wasn't too bad and we are now home just in time for a Sunday roast!
Great to meet you guys, hope to meet up again. I do have a few pics which I'll try to attach on here!

Nice collection of cars I'm on the beds bucks border but may come and join one of the meets if that's ok? I did some building in East Horsely and Banstead so know the area a little and even visited Box Hill

I have to say that I wasn't overwhelmed by the enthusiasm for a December meet, but we'll certainly be doing this many times again!

Next meeting I am aware of in this neck of the woods will be the Pistonheads Sunday Service on (Sunday!) 11 December:

Looked like you guys had a good morning of it despite the threat of rubbish weather!

I wasn't able to get away in the end - whilst I was on holiday the Zed developed a slow puncture on one of the rear tyres, so had to run about trying to sort that in the end :/

I've signed up for the Pistonheads Sunday Service too - be good to try and get a group together to head down for that!
