Post by Matt64 » Sat Nov 12, 2016 10:24 pm

I'm working this eve, but if I wake up in time, and you guys arn't sniffy about a dirty car, I try to be there, only a short run down the M4 from Swinetown.

No positive takers on this other than the original 3, just a load of non-committal maybe's :(

Therefore I am switching the venue as Spikey fancies a look at the Bristol Car Show at the new Rybrook's showroom, Cribbs Causeway. (BS10 7TT)

This is the old Bristol Queens Square monthly Breakfast Meet, now relocated to a new venue. It kicks off at 9am, so look for our Zeds there.
Ouch!! If I had a working zed I would be there! I don't fancy this drive in my mums 1.1 Korean something if a car!!
My little blue zed is in lots of bits. With lots of things started and not many finished! I may have found the limits of my time and ability!!

I can totally understand, a shame though, I'd just logged on to say I'll be there! Oh well, will give the trek over to Cribbs a miss, will get along to a meet at some stage though.

Pleased I dragged myself out of bed, it was a really big car meet. Very varied quality, age and type of cars, but it had a good natured feel. I confess I indulged in a little power slide when leaving, I thought I'd fit in with everyone else
Good to see you guys from here, after I wandered off in search of Corvettes (none of the type I was looking for) I couldn't find you again. When I returned to my car there were a couple of guys looking round it, leading to a good chat for 20 minutes, they didn't know an M roadster existed! Drove down the M5, through Cheddar Gorge, Mendips and home, roof down, sunny and 15 degrees at some stages!

Sedgemoor Services, in need of food, came back to find these two near my car.

Mine was in stealth mode ! So no pics - was a worthwhile visit and some very interesting machinery turned up

Next one is 11 Dec but back at Queens Square - think that will be organised mayhem though after the success of this one :driving:
