Although the weather wasn't the best, the company more than made up for it, great venue and the food was very good too. Really nice to meet more forum members and see a few old faces again. Good turn out of cars too, a brace of Alpina's turned up, Big red cats (Fran) car is a stunning, mind they all looked good
Must do this again and hopefully there will be a few more turn up.

Shame it wasn't a top down day (perhaps it was sunny in Scotland where Spikey was)
Lovely to meet up with new & old faces & see another Alpina
Thanks for the photos Firebobby - you could have photoshopped out the red interloper though
Well done to Alan for being dad again & organizing us.
We also had the inaugural meeting of the "Whippy Owners Club" - all new members welcome

Why do you carry so many oil containers in your boot Fran
So we need to have a mass whippy meeting then, maybe at zedfest

Great to see a great turnout for this meet AV8 is a perfect venue for this number
Firebobby - I would have been your wingman if I had been able to attend - if I had a double garage I would still have my Anniversary MR2 in it - the MK2 is definately a future classic ( if you can keep the tin worm away from the sills)
I was careering down the M6 in the F10 when you guys were enjoying breakfast - my weather was good but would much rather have been out with the Zeds
Next time

I do have a bit at the rear of the sills which I will need to repair, they do make repair sections for these nowSpikey wrote:Great to see a great turnout for this meet AV8 is a perfect venue for this number

This is fairly local for me but I couldn't make it today due to family duties. I'm here regularly in my Zed and on my bike, absolutely great in the spring and summer, I look forward to another meet there.

That's good - but from memory it's not the outer sills that are the issue - it's the mess you find in the inner section where the seatbelt anchor points are - anyhow still worth fixing for a great carfirebobby wrote:I do have a bit at the rear of the sills which I will need to repair, they do make repair sections for these nowSpikey wrote:Great to see a great turnout for this meet AV8 is a perfect venue for this number

Thought I'd resurrect this AV8 thread! Now the days are getting longer perhaps we can have another meet at the AV8 café sometime soon?
