A very good reason indeed and a chance to meet a few forum members. Because it's such an early (in the year) meeting, it's not the law to bring the Z
I'll be in the z..... As long as the weather isn't too rubbish

Good turn out of cars too, a brace of Alpina's turned up, Big red cats (Fran) car is a stunning, mind they all looked good
Must do this again and hopefully there will be a few more turn up.

And there's me thinking how nice you were, then you attack my little red beauty
Why do you carry so many oil containers in your boot Fran :P

So we need to have a mass whippy meeting then, maybe at zedfest

AV8 Cafe Breakfast Meet 31st Dec (Glos)

Great to see a great turnout for this meet AV8 is a perfect venue for this number

Firebobby - I would have been your wingman if I had been able to attend - if I had a double garage I would still have my Anniversary MR2 in it - the MK2 is definately a future classic ( if you can keep the tin worm away from the sills)

I was careering down the M6 in the F10 when you guys were enjoying breakfast - my weather was good but would much rather have been out with the Zeds

Next time

AV8 Cafe Breakfast Meet 31st Dec (Glos)

Post by *AL* » Sun Jan 01, 2017 8:01 pm

This is fairly local for me but I couldn't make it today due to family duties. I'm here regularly in my Zed and on my bike, absolutely great in the spring and summer, I look forward to another meet there.

That's good - but from memory it's not the outer sills that are the issue - it's the mess you find in the inner section where the seatbelt anchor points are - anyhow still worth fixing for a great car

See now you have made me start looking at MR2 prices....,.

Thought I'd resurrect this AV8 thread! Now the days are getting longer perhaps we can have another meet at the AV8 café sometime soon? :)
