When we pulled onto our plot, Mr Merc came running over with his silly flag and said: `you can't park there, it's for the merc club`, soon put him right though after we checked the map

Thank to all who attended, nice to speak to regulars and new people alike.
Glad the weather held out for us again although there was a breeze, I bet there are a few red faces, mine one of them. I think the breeze held some of the planes flying this year.
It was a nightmare getting in this year, we were stood a whole hour before we got in, never been like that the 4 years we have been doing this event. Anyone else agree?
Only 4 paying desk's out of 10 available. I heard a few people moaning this year. I will be forwarding an email to Duxford about the matter.

I'd like to hear regular's views on the event this year compared to previous, also first timers

Turned up dehydrated and still feeling a bit rough from the stag do but left feeling a lot better after meeting new and old members this afternoon - another great forum bunch and brilliant to be talking all things Zed and M. Great to meet Russ and misses and see who was behind getting this all organised - magic and thanks for organising it Russ
Can't remember the original owner of Lynchy's Imola M but hope you've seen what a job he's done - absolutely stunning! Couldn't believe it as I walked up, thought it was supposed to be a well used example - not a chance of it - it looks fabulous
So frustrating not having my M there made doubly annoying when I saw just how many other M were in attendance - and a cracking bunch of owners.Got to stick my head into quite a few engine bays and checked out many an OE exhaust - thanks all - really helpful
A delight to see Hutch again after our brilliant trip last year and lovely to see Gareth after what must have been a long drive (see you next week for Sportscars in the Park). Great to meet others I'd only read about and knew from the forum - yep some lovely Zeds on display and a friendly, keen lot as always - really enjoyed the afternoon, seeing the Zeds and all the chat - thanks all.
Was great to watch you all leave at the end - hopefully catch up (and have the M with me) at Zedfest
I'll post a few photos tomorrow - just got in from a 4 hour drive back to Newcastle - been a busy weekend

Hi Russ, thanks for organizing the event

Some comments to the show organizers:
1. Cost £12.60 was a joke as it caused delays on entry.
2. Organization of queued cars when gates opened was embarrassing. 16 lanes down to 2 then back to 4 !!!
3. Setting out of car clubs around the venue was poor, didn't feel much atmosphere and large areas not used.
4. Needs more auto jumble stalls.
5. Hardly any planes flew !!! Disappointing
6. We need a club flag
7. Maybe arrange our cars to invite folks to walk around easier.

Agree with those comments and also have 1 advance tickets available and a lane for pre paid
2 on entry at the roadway junction be asked to have the exact cash ready to save fumbling around at the booths.

We arrived at 9 and got into one of the rows of cars, we did't have to long a wait before we were moving again. It was the paying booths where the problem was. £12.60 didn't help and seem to cause a problem with change. The marshaling at the gates was poor. But we had a great day once in, thanks again Russ
