France/Belgium Coupe roady - any road/pub/grub suggestions

Post by jlp123 » Mon Jun 19, 2017 6:28 pm

Hi guys,

Had my Coupe for a few months now. Finally going to christen it on the continent. :driving:

Driving from North Wales on Friday and getting the ferry on to Dunkirk.

Going to be spending the night in Le Mans before making our way down to the countryside of the Cognac region. Based near a town called Angouleme for a week.

Our return journey starts with a night stay in Troyes, followed by a night in Bruges to finish it all off.

Was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for some nice roads (trying to avoid tolls if possible). Wouldn't mind seeing some nice sights on the way!

Any pubs or restaurants at any of our destinations we should be going to?

Many thanks guys appreciate any response! Will publish some snaps on my return.

Loadsa top bars and eaty places in Brugge. I'd suggest just wandering about theold part and u will find something soon enough. There's beer galore too and speakin of beer, if you go through Ghent go on the boat trip and go for a few bevvies in the Waterhouse on the Bierkant, it's top. They do food too i think.
