Post by domsz4 » Wed Jun 18, 2014 10:38 pm

can some one point me in the right direction of a how to for a DA. i had one bought for me after the i did the shinearama day last year but for the life of me i cant remember all of the day so would like a recap.

wouldnt mind doing one again tbh but the other thread megs one is too far away.

was also thinking of these to start off with, but not sure i would need all of them?

I'd have a look on Youtube and settle in for an hour or so!

Woahhh that seems like a lot to spend on pads and polishes! I would personally go for two polishes and pads. Haven't got round to doing my zed yet, but on similar 320d paint I had very good results with Scholl:

Orange pad + Blue pad + S17 polish + S30 polish = £60ish.

Another alternative -- 2x ChemGuys Hexlogic Pads + 2x Meguirs polishes = £40ish.
I'd rather save some money at this stage and get some good wax/sealant, wash mitt, shampoo etc to look after all your freshly polished paint! 8)

As for how-to's, Junkman and ChemicalGuys on youtube
