PDR magic !( Paintless Dent Removal )

Been using a blokey down here for a few years - never fails to amaze me how he does it ! when I bought my zed 3 months ago noticed a very slight dint on the front wing ( you could only see it if you stood with the light shining in just the right place and then only just). anyway my OCD takes over and I give him a ring - comes round and within 10 minutes it's gone - because I've used him on a few of my previous cars - He looks all over the car and does four or five others - so small even my ocd couldn't see them until he'd pointed them out - all taken out perfectly. Now it's 100% free of dints and I can sleep at nights ( sad bastard that I am )

Years ago you just had to live with these and bloody annoying they were too.

i got myself one of those blokey`s too , when you know its there you just cant stop looking at it everytime you go pass the car i must be ocd too

Where are you guys based? I have three very small ones in my drivers door that my OCD is asking me to get removed!

Could do with a recommendation of someone decent in the Beds/Bucks/Herts area :)

Sorry mate - I'm on the Isle of wight - a bit out of your way - it's a growing business though so there should be some based around your way .

I had 9 in my drivers door, a biggish one in the rear wing and three in the passenger door, but my magic dent man got rid of them all on Tuesday - yay!

Harder than you think. I phoned a number of companies that came up under PDR, only to find they werent interested as no paint involved.

Got hold of somebody via an ex memeber on here though and met him in a service station. Removed the dent in my door and charged me a tenner.

it's not OCD at all. you're making a mockery of people who actually have that for real.

i agree, they're very good at their job (providing you get a decent one).

I reckon the answer is to have a summer weekend meet here on the Isle of wight - all those with dents can have them done all at the same time ! My back garden's big enough to hold a BBQ as well - An invasion of Zeds would certainly liven up our village !!

My bloke has been doing it for 20 years - when you find a good one they are worth keeping. Like wives...

A few other forums have ding removal meet days ... Get discounted price for a car park of dings to be corrected. Could be worth it if there's enough of us in one area?

Sounds interesting, I now have a ding caused by a falling branch in the storm the other night

If you get hold of a good PDR guy could you let me know?

I have a few dents and im only down thte road from you in Guildford :)

Do most of these guys insist on only doing work where the paint is intact? I mean, are there Painful Dent Removal guys who will do a panel pull/push plus touch-ups, even if it costs a little more? Or is this what they call a "smart repair"?

Only asking because I've sent pics off to PDR companies in the past and they've come back with "sorry mate, that's too badly scratched".

Yes, you are really into smart repairs there. Lynchy does these so might be able to offer some assistance and advise.

If he can ever find you that is ...

Do you have a name and number for your guy?
Only got a couple of small dents but would like them sorting.
