That's one hell of a hill you've parked on! :tumbleweed:

I favour red to match the red leather. Might do it now I know others do too.

I panted mine red but because they are not impressive to look at I repainted silver along with the hub. They look a lot better now and they also look new

As my Independent has again said that my discs and pads are fine for this season . . . I'm going to paint my calipers and hubs. Hubs silver but what colour do folk think for the calipers on a stratus grey roadster?

I've my mind set on bronze but I can't find a paint suitable - there's 'hammered' finish hammerite, in copper, that might work. The earlier comments on gold looking like rust eventually, put me off but initially I fancied that colour.

The stratus grey is an awkward colour to compliment - maybe yellow (it's in the paint flakes?)

And hammered or smooth hammerite? :?

OP - I did my silver grey Zed's calipers and hubs in silver and as already said - they look new and fresh when done that colour  I may simply do the same on my stratus grey Zed - we shall see. . . .

Hi Paul, I lacquered my calipers after giving them a good clean up & they are a bronze colour naturally, still looking ok a couple of years later

Interesting - though I suspect I'd have to do a lot of work on my calipers to get them looking that good . . . paint covers a lot of ills!

Did everyone paint in situ, or take calliper off?

took mine off.
Left the calipers on a bungee (so not to strain the hoses) and painted them all around, but I took the brackets off.
I did everything with a brush btw. (with silver hamerite)

Paul, PM GJC72 and hopefully he can send you a few shots of his - copper/gold sort of colour and they look excellent. I saw them a couple of weeks back and was very impressed. They work really well on his midnight blue car - not certain with your colour but still worth a look.

Black (a bit boring), blue and copper/gold look the best to me.
