Clay mitt

Hi Guys, some advice please.

I've purchased one of those G3 clay mitts and I'm seeking help before I attack the car.

I'm going to use the company motor as a guinepig before I let it loose on the Zed though LOL.

I've read the instructions and it refers to using a detailer spray as a lube but I'm sure I've seen some comments that you can just use your usual car shampoo? I do have some zymol detailer spray which I can use but don't want to go over the top if it's not necessary.

If anyone has any experience I would be interested to here how you got on.

Cheers

Hi Ray, I've used the clay mitt a few times now & normal car wash shampoo is fine-keep it nice and soapy and it won't grip & marr

I usually use a good strong shampoo solution and have some quick detailer in hand to spray occasionally.

I really rate the mitts though, just be careful with it so you don't Marr the paint :)
