I have been using Wurth Active Foam for 20 years now and nothing comes close ! Perhaps more importantly I think the cloth/wiper itself has more influence on the finish that can be achieved. Some of the latest very short pile microfibre cloths are superb.

If you don't already then it's worth putting some Rain x on afterwards. I tend to use AG fast glass as it's often in the 3 for 2 deal. The rain x not only helps the rain bead off but makes bug splatters and the like so much easier to clean in the future.

3M foam works well and is cheap enough. GTechniq G6 perfect glass is great stuff. So is AutoFinesse Crystal Glass.

Autofinesse. Prefer it to autoglym fast glass and angel wax vision. Viv

I've been fighting this for a while now. I got a ton of microfiber cloths that are really good. BUT they leave micro fiber shrapnel all over my windows. So after I clean the glass, I have to go back and gently wipe off the fibers. Total pain.

Got any recommendations on better microfiber?

I bought a few of these recently, Kent Q6900 40 x 40cm Microfibre Glass Cloth https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B002PX29LI/ ... SybGXY12GJ Super quality, no smears and no 'shrapnel' !

I think Invisible Glass rather sucks as a glass cleaner so why would I think it cleans the paint any better?
