Hi I would suggest you think of how many times you polished your car last year, and how many times you would have done it if you had the da polisher. Unless you see it as a thing you can't live with out or intend using for many years, invest in other kit like good drying cloths and polishing pads and great polish. I use a meguires drill attachment da and it is great but cost a fraction of the cost. I am happy with the results it gives. But it does get great reviews, name pushes up the price unnecessarily I would suggest.

For me, assuming I use it and not let it gather dust, it'll save money. I typically get my cars detailed early Spring which costs between £200-£500 p.a., depending on what needs doing.
I'm not a fan of ebay. I'm considering buying similar, but from cleanyourcar.co.uk. I've bought plenty of stuff from them over the years and they've been great. http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polishing ... at_81.html

Thanks guys, i've ordered one from clean your car, with the Mezerna polishes etc... It will be used amongst a few of us, so a cheap buy.

I have had a DAS-6 Pro for about 4 years, and i use it twice a year (minimum)
I give the car a full detail in spring, and then treat it before winter.

I get really excited about it, I love removing all the swirls and seeing the results.

I am already thinking about my April detail!

+1 for the clean your car site, ordered my Vertool DAS 21e from them last year, arrived next day and was best price I could find.

Went for that one as it's a bit more powerful and has a bigger orbit, so apparently works faster. Mind you, still took me a day to do the XC90 properly.
