Wax remover

Post by Nictrix » Fri Apr 07, 2017 10:44 am

Is there a product available to remove wax that is wipe on wipe off leaving little mess?
For instance if only one panel was to be machine polished so that the whole car didnt need waxed again.
I quickly machine polished the car a few days ago and got good results for the first time doing it but I have waxed the whole car to protect the paint in the meantime.
Now to go back and try to get rid of deeper scratches and marks I would like to do it a bit at a time and take my time so dont want to have to wax loads of panels if I could get away with just the one I am working on.

I have some nanolex panel wipe i can give you a loan of,if just for one panel,Stuart......Can arrange to drop it into you some time soon,in the coming week? You won't need much of it,and hardly worth buying tbh,can put some in a smaller bottle for you even if u want it?

Maniac, thanks for the link to that stuff but it looks harder to find a price and order the stuff than it is to do the job
Craig, thanks for the offer but I am looking for something to keep on the shelf for when I need it. I have found the stuff you are talking about on ultimate finishes site :)

I'm not 100% but I think some people use IPA mixed 50/50 with water. Look it up though to be safe!

IPA 50:50 mix with water will do it. I have also used bilt hamber cleanser fluid as well.

IPA followed by clay and then polish/wax! I do my entirely by hand, and get great results.
