Birthday detailing

Post by bobo075 » Mon Jun 26, 2017 8:17 am

For the 10 years of my coupe, I decided to offer "him" a complete detailing with a ceramic protection...
So this week-end I drove my Z to a professional... and I will take it back in a week.

So this is how it looks for the moment :P

Amazing stuff! What's the machine (rotary or DA), cutting agent and pad combination he is using...?

When I see the difference I just say that I didn't imagine my car to have so many scratches :o
 Slight concerns the detailer hasn't bothered to use a tar remover before claying...? Half of those marks are likely to be down to rubbing the dirty clay across the paint! But anyhoo, if you're happy with it, that's all that matters at the end of the day

Looks fantastic. I like that debadged look too.
Coupe, KW coil overs, PSB limiters, Powerflex ARB bushes, 18" CSL reps, Aero skirts, ZHP leather knob, Whippy and proud. Probably needs a wash

Superb

There isn't a car out there that wouldn't benefit from this

I have just had mine ceramic coated at Obsidian detailing in Saddleworth .. not a Z anymore but same rules apply lol

Car looked great to start with. Now it looks superb. Always amazes me despite how much the paint is cleaned the clay bar always gets those last little bits. Enjoy it. I'm very envious.

Thank you all, the car is really very nice... now I am wondering if I am not going to ask him a "poly lustrage" to avoid the orange peel effect on the car... but it is long and quite expensive... I am also wondering if I will instal or not some aerodynamic skirts... :headbang: :headbang:
